There is a place for women in need of hope in Sylmar, CA. This place is a hidden oasis on 71 acres in the foothills. They have created a sanctuary for women coming from the streets of skid row to a varies of situations. This place helps women lead towards an independent living from homelessness. I was honored to be invited just in time for their graduation and give the ladies a makeover on hair and make-up application. Each of these women graduated from a comprehensive program that prepared them to go out into the real world on their own and make a living for themselves and their children. It was a great day filled with lots of tears and laughter.
